Peridot

Peridot is a ruggedized observation system built for wide-area, high-clarity daytime surveillance in defense and homeland security missions. It uses four IP day cameras to create a continuous view with partial overlap, so operators can monitor a large area without gaps or distortion. Peridot sends raw video through a built-in Ethernet switch to the user’s system, making it easy to connect to recording, analytics, or AI processing.

A dark gray, angular electronic device with six embedded camera lenses, three on each visible side, and a ridged top surface for heat dissipation.

Benefits

Continuous panoramic visibility for wide-area daytime monitoring

Seamless coverage with overlapping cameras for a clean, uninterrupted view

Scales to full panoramic coverage by combining multiple Peridot units

Easy to integrate into existing systems using Ethernet output

Reliable in harsh conditions with a ruggedized enclosure for demanding deployment

Q&A for Peridot

Peridot is a modular and ruggedized daytime observation system that provides panoramic coverage for defense and homeland security missions.

It uses four IP day cameras with partial overlap so the full scene is covered continuously.

Yes. Multiple Peridot units can be combined to form 360° horizontal panoramic coverage (or 180° vertical coverage).

Peridot transmits raw video through a built-in Ethernet switch to your system over Ethernet, supporting external recording or processing.

Peridot uses multiple fixed cameras with partial overlap instead of one wide-angle lens. This approach avoids distortion, keeps image quality consistent across the scene, and allows the system to scale by adding more units for wider coverage.
